What is Cascanect?

Cascanect is a lightweight app to connect with friends and compare connections! By scanning your friends QR code, you can connect with friends and grow your number of connections. If your connected friends connect with their friends, your own connection count will grow, allowing you to try to get the most connections possible and connect with everyone in the world!

FAQ

Q: What information is shared when I connect?

A: The other scanning device will receive your location in that moment, your username, and a unique app generated ID only. The location is not stored and only used in verification.

Q: I want to connect, but it wont let me. Why?

A: There are several reasons why you might not be able to connect. Please ensure you are in the same location as the other person, and have locations enabled on your device. A QR code is only valid for 60 seconds, so if the other person has not scanned your code in that time, you will not be able to connect. If you are already connected, or a mutual friend has already connected with you, you will not be able to connect again. Please check the Code in the main screen of the app and verify that you are not already connected with the other person. For any other issues, please contact us at support@gem.aero.
